Good quality dog guard?

I'm after a dog guard for the Primera. It's nice and clean inside and one of my dogs always insists on hanging over the back seat, getting hairs all over the place.
Its a P12 (2003) Primera Estate. I'm been looking at universal ones from the likes of halfords, pets at home, argos etc. but all seem to have terrible reviews on all sites. Mostly that they either didn't fit properly or just fell apart after a few weeks. Understandably, they are universal so wont ever fit 100% perfect but I don't want to spend £40 on something that wont ever stay in place properly.
I've called Nissan and the genuine dog guard is around £130. A fairly hefty price for a bit of metal mesh really. Cant find any second hand either.
Are there any universal ones out there that wont break the bank and wont break themselves in a few weeks?
