Valueing old 35mm camera and lenses.

Is there anywhere where you can get some sort of guideline prices on older 35mm cameras and lenses ?

I would have thought that most older 35mm cameras are pretty much worhtless but I thought I might have a go at selling the stuff that is in my bottom draw collecting dust.

I was just about to stick the lot on ebay for about 50 quid and did a quick search on ebay for one of the lenses. Its a 250mm Minolta mirror lense. I found this -

Anybody care to comment on the price - just chancing his luck ? Is it valuable ?

Result! Don't forget that autofocus Minolta lenses fit the current Sony DSLRs and the older lenses are of great quality.

Give these guys a call http://www.nicholascamera.com for a second opinion.

They have a huge amount of old 35 mm equipment....their website is very,very out of date so ignore whatever is on there.

Being a dealer they wont offer you eBay prices but you never know....

Well its on ebay and i'm getting some offers which I would normally accept (>£500) but there from Honk Kong. People have some positive feedback but only 20 or so.

I don't really want to risk - anybody done similar ?
