Sunday Service: Car Of The Show Vote

Thanks for coming - now tell us which was your favourite car!

Well, another PH Sunday Service has come and gone, and the sun shone kindly down on what must have been the most fantastically diverse collection of cars to grace the Grounds of Rolls-Royce's Goodwood factory.

Just take a look at the picture to your right if you don't believe us - where else will you see a Camel Trophy Defender line up against a Vauxhall Victor, a Renaultsport Megane, a Riley Elf and a Merc E500?

Of course, there were too many cars to mention all by name, so thank you to all who showed up and shared their motors with us.

And now you can show your appreciation for your favourite car of the weekend: Sunday Service sponsors Adrian Flux offer a prize (usually a bottle of champagne) to the car you vote as 'Best of Show', and our hosts at Rolls-Royce will add to that prize with this glorious, mounted Spirit of Ecstasy (right).

Garlick says he rather likes it, and that if you want to vote for the green TVR positioned near the RR entrance, please feel free!

To vote (other Sunday Service cars are available...), all you need to do is email us at sundayservice@pistonheads.com and tell us which car you liked the most. Easy.

A huge thank you must also go to everyone who donated when taking the tour of the Rolls-Royce facility. The chaps at RR are still counting the coins up, but we already know that as a result of your generosity we have managed to comfortably beat last year's total of £2500 for the Luke Cory Trust.

Thank you for digging so deeply, we really appreciate it.

Ps: for those wondering, the PHSS sticker is on the reverse of the Adrian Flux sticker we handed out at the gate...

And just out of shot next to the Morgan is our Jazz. If anyone does vote for it you are mad silly (although that Spirit of Ecstasy will look great at home with the book I bought)

Unfortunately I didn't get to make this as I sold the Ferrari on Friday! I then spent alot of the weekend hunting for a replacement. Sounds like it was a good one.

I'm still wondering which of the factory tour or the roads on the drive down were best, either way, an excellent day capped off by the abundance of other sporting machinery I saw on the journey. I expect a lot of it was on the way to the Silverstone Classic race car meet.

Me and the E Type enjoyed the gallop, really like the clean factory environment etc and pleasant all round time, very well supported and good behaviour, i.e. no souvenirs prized from bonnets.
E Type (and me) really made the most of the run and galloped down M27 and Chich. by Pass without the law being around early on Sunday morning.;)

The 360 Challenge Stradalé, even after all these years, it's still one of my all time favourites.

Is it a CS though?

500 has to be car of the show. Has to be.

Pretty sure it is, but then, I am no expert.

Clearly the star of the show had to be the vintage Rolls-Royce that made an appearance. yes
