Bus drivers

I was driving to the shop earlier and came to a junction i was turning right and a bus was turning into the road he got so far round wound his window down and gave me a mouthful because he couldn't get all the way round because i was on my side of the road and had been waiting there for a while.

Was it his fault for trying to go round a corner or mine for not giving enough room being right on the edge of my side of the road

Bit of both. If he was waiting to turn right before you got to the junction, then a bit of foresight would have seen you holding back.

Ive only been passed 2 weeks and i pulled up and he was in the bus stop further down the road was an utter cock

In that case you missed the bit in the lessons which said that "Buses are kings of the road and are driven by drivers who are able to be utter cocks whenever they like".

If I'm in a turn right lane I tend not to sit right on the line, gives buses and trucks a bit more room to swing round. I don't want my car damaged.

yeah i was there first and he simply tried to get round then shouted at me saying you f****** idiot learn to drive and all this then i went

Bus Drivers are a bunch of s who reckon they own the road. Yes I give them plenty of room when you know they'll need to swing out, and rarely do you get a thanks. I only give them room due to me not wanting them to drive into my car, and you know they would.

Once you've seen a few of them, sat at the stop with their Right indicator on, whilst they're waiting for ten of the cast of Cocoon to hobble on, you'll soon learn to taking their driving advice with all the contempt it deserves.

Its my first confrontation with a bus driver he just had no time ime driving a 1.3 panda atm i got stuck in the carpark just before i had this issue 2 people like parked next to me and on my white line haha ime just moaning today

1. If you see a large vehicle (bus, truck etc) coming and looking to turn where you're waiting, stop a little further back from the line as it'll give them room to swing round the junction. They will appreciate it!

2. Call the bus company, tell them one of their drivers is a foul mouthed, over aggresive cretin.

3. Don't let it faze you too much. Now you've passed your test, you'll start learning how to drive!

Then phone the bus company and report him. I done it once when I was parked in a bus lane, getting out of my car, the bus driver flipped me a finger and shook his head while driving past.
"That's clever", I thought. I took the registration, bus number, service number, time and location and gave them a call. I got a letter of apology a week later, they'd viewed the CCTV and slapped him on the wrists.

Maybe next time he'll recognise that between the hours of 0930 and 1600, I am absolutely allowed to park in that bus lane and won't flip me off. That's life buddy, a learning experience. You've learnt your lesson on seeing things arise before they happen and if you were a bit quicker off the mark, he'd be learning a lesson about shouting sweary stuff at people.

I had this once. I was stopped exactly where I was supposed to be and had been there waiting before the bus turned up.

What did the bus driver do?

Turned his engine off, and sat there at 45degrees across the junction with his arms cross looking smug, while traffic built up around him.

I got out, asked him what he was playing at. His answer? "I've got all day mate and I'm not going anywhere."

So, of course, I had to move out the way.

I have *no* time for bus drivers now.

Should have also sat there and waited, he hasn't got all day.. Hes supposed to be on time at the bus stops.
