Hi

Don't know either of them but nearly bought an M3 off Quality Salvage once which was stolen-recovered. I'm assuming here that you're interested in buying one??

The main thing that put me off was some advice that I got from a friend whose family own an insurance brokers. Be careful as if a car is a total loss it's unlikely that if you repaired it and crashed it again that they would give a full pay-out on it.

This is what I was told anywho!! Hope that helps.

TVR Bodyshop would be able to repair either I would have thought but at what cost and what would it be worth after the repair. Not sure if you watch the classifieds but repaired cars come up quite a lot and are usually quite a lot cheaper than a similar car thats not been crashed.

Would be interesting to follow if you did get one by posting some pics??

Resale isnt a problem as im looking to convert to a racer, and the bodywork i can get fixed locally.

the quality salvage one looks expensive next to the other one...

im interested if anyone knows the history and real damage of either car... there was a griff recently described as light damage!!! but didnt seem to be sitting right. the owner poped up on here and confirmed the chassis was buggered. some chassis damage is ok, outriggers ect, but if its twisted i'd need to replace...
