Had a complaint. Gutted.

Currently I rent a garage near to my house for my beloved Chim, but I've been told someone has complained about noise. I'm really gutted as I do my very best to be courteous.
I roll out the garage, lower the roof in silence, shut the garage doors and only start when I'm 100% ready and leave immediately. On my return I coast in with the engine off, raise the roof, open the doors and only start it to reverse in. It takes me about 60 seconds to back in.
I use it once a week usually, and if I have to leave early I take it home the night before. What more can I do?
I'll be gutted if I'm asked to leave it, I don't have another option at this time

Get on the front foot - see if you can find out who complained, talk to them, apologise, explain what you said here, ask if there's anything more you can do.... I know this is probably the opposite of what you'd like to say to them, but doesn't sound like you're in a position to win any arguments.

Good luck with it cos it put's a cloud over the ownership and enjoyment..not a place to be
I had this problem at my old place,
My landlord hated me, my car, girlfriend in fact he hated every thing expect himself and his golf clubs he said it was a eye sore,noisy and makes to much fumes and stunk his house out, which was BS,
I said polity I will try and keep the noise down, but when he started up his W12 Bentley at 6 in the morning on a Sunday! idling away in a garage I got pissed off, and war broke out,
Ended up moving, and made getting my deposit back a pain in the ass, which got nasty in the end
Some people just need to take there head out of there ass!

Not sure what my options are at the moment, maybe I'll be allowed to stay, but it will make me very self-conscious from now on. Perhaps I will be able to chat/ explain, maybe I can find out what annoys them the most.
It is loud, I know that, hence my actions above but It's a real shame as it's a cracking garage in a convenient location. Fingers crossed it works out.

Can you not get a couple of special insert mufflers made pop them in 3 mins down the road take them out when you are out of ear shot. Might be worth thinking about.

I'd gladly meet them, I suspect they think I'm a chav or something. I reckon these silencers could work, or I could drive into the garage instead of reversing as that might shave a few seconds from it.
Hopefully my agent can calm the situation, he's a good chap. Fingers and toes crossed.
