car hire firms in spain with live availability

i have been trying to book a mid size car in reus near barcalona for 2 weeks in August which i appreciate is a busy time for them.

I am getting sick of web sites that make it look as though they have what you need then the next day email you to say it is not available.

I have given all my personal and payment details to 3 different companies now with no luck.

Are there any companies covering spain that actually give "live" availability ?
