Don't mention "colour" , was what I was alluding to when I said politically incorrect.
I know he is a slightly cocky bugger, but he has every justification to be I reckon.
Why, pray tell, do so many of you dislike Lewis Hamilton ? ?
He goes for it, occasionally to his misfortune as regards points, so . . . he is a "racer" then,
He is black. . . who cares. . .
He dates a dippy pop star . . . again who cares
He has brought into F1 ( undiluted) all the unbridled determination to RACE (remember that ? ) that he demonstrated in his championship winning year in GP2 , which convinced anyone with half a racing brain, that he WOULD be world champion (not if BUT when) sooner rather than later.
Jeez, I left the UK 19 years ago, and I am Scottish, not even English,so what do YOU guys have against him? he is a great guy to have in F1 , someone who goes for it regardless. For what it is worth & IMO Lewis is a joy to watch on the track. Yes he gets aggessive, yes he makes mistakes, yes he has the occassional accident but then so did a certain Brazilian genius who went by the name Ayrton Senna.
We need more of the likes of Lewis & less of the Vettels who cannot actually race. After all we are race fans because we want to watch racers not people who concede a corner of a track place without any attempt to defend it.
So lay off Lewis & let us enjoy his driving whilst we have the chance to do so.
