Rear Indicator Bulb

Ok Guys, silly question time.

I am at work and have left my 'bible' at home.

The rear nearside indicator bulb has blown. Simples I think. Pull off the lump of carpet velcro'd over the the light cluster and remove bulb.

Big black rubber condom shaped thing over the back of the bulb does not seem to want to move so how do I get to the bulb. It must be simple but as I have not had my Weetabix yet this morning I seem incapable of this task.

The "condom" wont come off, its attached to the gold / silver ring that unscrews from the mounting. When unscrewed, the bulb comes out with it.

Beware though, some are tight as they are sometimes covered in glue and other sticky stuff from the carpetting. I had to gently use some adjustable grips to unscrew one of mine.

Eureka....

Give that man a banana! Unscrewed without any aggro and now off to the local motor factors to get two replacements (because s*ds law says the other one will blow shortly).
