I do it to. Usually a bonio wins unless there is a strawberry there as well.

lock dog out of room
place treats all over room + hidden

Like me at dog shows... I usually have a bag of liver cake, and several dogs all sitting in front of me or the more pushy ones nudging my pocket...........

I like to place say a dog biscuit, a bit of say pizza (I know, but hey, they are 8 stone), and then a bit of meat for their bedtime snack, all in a row. And see which dog eats what first. What is also amusing is that they change over time, one dog would always go for the meat first but has recently changed to saving the best 'til last........

For those who don't do this, I bet you will now, just to see !!!!

LMAO!

Very true... tried it tonight...

Bonio.... fig roll... liver and a Dorito!

Boris went straight for the Dorito, then the liver, then the bonio and the fig roll is still sitting there!

Beau went for the liver, then the fig roll and the bonio got demolished by boris as did the dorito! Shes too slow bless her!

Sort of "on-topic" but we gave the boys a treat the other night. The 10kg Pug got a bone...like a compressed cornflake one, and the 30kg Bulldog got a proper rawhide thingy. Puggy ran upstairs with his and appeared without it after 5 minutes. He then aggressivly stole the bulldog's bone and spent the next hour eating that. Bulldog got another treat, and later we retired to bed. Only to find the original bone hidden under the duvet. Puggy polished that up....then was sick 3 times during the night!

Sorry...as you were.

We do this and our dog's love it.

We also have one of those plastic balls with a hole in it for treats. Our mongrel has worked out that if he takes it to the top of the stairs and nudges it with his nose, it will roll down and dispense treats on the way!

Yup, the little bugger seems to have no preference, just horses through them like it's the last thing he'll eat.

I've considered putting a stone in there, but haven't been able to bring myself to do it.

what I tend to do is with biccies of different colurs/shapes, is count them out so they have the same number and the same types, and usually maks the last one the bone-shaped one, don't know why!!

I did this today with a favourite treat and a piece of cheddar cheese.

Fully expecting the treat to win hands down, but the cheese won it today - I was surprised... until I remembered that it had come out of the "Cheese" box, which currently houses some incredibly ripe camembert... I had a bit of the cheddar - even I could taste the aroma of the camembert on the cheddar!

Mmmmmmmm. Lucky doggies!
