Mk5 Fiesta Problem.

Hello there,

I am new to the Ford bit of PH and never thought to introduce myself here so hello.

My sister has a 2000 (X) Ford Fiesta 1.3 Finesse.(also in 'My Garage') and has had a problem with the sunroof for about 1.5 years. I never thought to ask here until now.

The problem is with the sunroof and it sounds like a little ball/bead keeps rolling around the sunroof. It only sounds when we go around a corner or a bump it sounds like it goes from one end to the other.

Is this a well known problem or a problem that any PH'ers have faced? Is it a simple fix/cheap fix? The only reason I ask is because she may be selling it soon so want to get it in the best condition.

Had the same problem with my lotus elise. Found it was the bearings in the seat that were dry of grease and rolling backwards and forwards when driving. Try a congealing grease on the runners and see it that cures it.
