Removal of paint from laminate flooring
Discussion
Hi all,
A friend of mine has some water based paint on his laminate floor, courtesy of one of his children. Despite being water based, hot water, steam and/or oxy2000 or whatever it is called have all fallen short of the mark.
Can anyone recommend anything that would remove it safely without damaging the floor? This floor is also in the playroom, so napalm etc is out - the solution must be child friendly.
Thoughts??

Lightly (and i mean lightly) scraping with a razor blade will often pop most of it off. And the wee bits left will generally submit to a quick wipe with turps substitute.
If youve any cellulose thinners and you're up for a gamble wiping the paint off and then quickly washing the area to get rid of the thinners might do the job as a last resort :-)
