Shoot locations around greater London

Hey guys,
Having just moved to London I am on the lookout for good shoot locations for car and fashion shoots. Was hoping someone could point me in a few directions, or maybe some PHers have access to some good locations (such as factories/warehouses/smelters) that it would be possible to shoot at..... I'd explore myself however I am in London on a fairly limited basis and any time I can save is time I can spend with my family and friends...

I find Google Maps to be helpful for this kind of thing

Not a Londoner so can't help with specifics but an alternative to Google Maps is to search the map on flickr. It's a good way to see how people actually put their locations to use within their images.
