I'm interested in a flat that's on the market, but I'd like to create an ensuite for the main bedroom. The only problem is that it's a groundfloor flat with concrete floors, and the ensuite wouldn't be anywhere near the existing plumbing/soil stack etc. I'm guessing I'd need a macerator, but even so just how hard would it be to run pipes/wastes etc to the location marked with a cross in the plan below?

Cheers!

Dom

Difficult to see picture as on iPhone but looks like a hard one to get to the existing soil stack!!!

How high are existing ceilings?

Also have a think if it's actually worth doing as bathroom only next door!!

If the floors are concrete, you could chisel out a channel to put the pipe into. I don't think I would though, the room is quite small, and it's only 5 metres to the toilet.

Cheers guys - offer was rejected anyway, but I think you're right and it'd be better to leave it as is.

Thanks,

Dom
