i must replace the tyres on my 996 c2 this weekend and my local garage was unsure what to recommend(not many porsches round here) its got gt3 wheels and aerokit on with the 10" rear wheels, currently 225 front and 265 rears, ive heard you can go with 235front but what size rears is best 285 or 295 also what profile 35 or 30, i only use it in the dry and would ike to do a few track days if poss, can get a deal on pirelli p zeros for £530 a set or michelin for £750, ive tryed searching the threads but have a very slow pc. all advice greatly received, thanks

can anyone help?, have tried a few local tyre places but they dont really know and i must get some ordered very soon as mine are under 2mm left

As far as I know the widest tyre you can fit on the back of a C2/C4 is 285.
I have just had Pzeros fitted 225x40 front 285x30 rear.
