I drive an S65 AMG. I think it one of the best cars ever. But if I had one criticism it is the exhaust note. I do not want it to be the aggressive sound of the S63 AMG, but think it could be a little louder. Is anyone aware of any upgrades or alternatives to make it sound a little more aggressive, The only time mione sounds great is when you start it from cold in the morning.

I understand the OEM AMG exhausts are made by Eisenmann:

They should be able to offer you a more aurally pleasing sports 'zorst made to the same design brief (e.g backpressure and all that tech stuff) as the stock system.

Let us know how you go on smile

if you just want a louder sound, easiest and cheapest way is definitely to just remove the pair of secondary silencers and replace with straight pipes, this could be done at any local exhaust specialists, this shouldn't affect MOT and the sound is incredible (check videos on youtube to get a flavour)

the amg cars in general have two pairs of silencers and two pairs of cats, overkill in my opinion but obviously they need to meet carbon emission and noise regulations when manufactured,

you have an awesome car by the way, my friend has an s600 bi-turbo and regularly embarrasses supercars with it biglaugh
