Don't bother.

A Punto Sporting 16v engine is a relatively easy fit and will get you more power than you'd ever hope to get out of carbs / throttle bodies.

Of all the engines you could shove in the front of a cinq, a 1.2 60PS FIRE engine is the best you can come up with?

Have you seen how tight the engine bay is?

And the 60bhp lump will give more than that with some breathing mods and a cam.

Or you can do a 16v conversion with the Sporting engine.

There's not a lot else will fit without major front end surgery - and to be honest, do you really need more than circa 90bhp (from a Sporting lump with a decent induction kit and exhaust) in something so small and light?

1.2 8v - ie. the Punto 60 lump is very easy. You can run it on the stock ECU and the only modification needed is a spacer on the exhaust manifold. 5bhp may not sound a lot, but the torque increase is much more than that - so that car is significantly quicker.

The 16v conversion is much more difficult - you run into issues with bonnet clearance, so need to run modified engine mounts, and you'd have to transplant the Punto ECU, which may cause issues with the CODE immobiliser.
