Bought my G37 coupe / convertible at the end of March as an ex-demo from Infiniti Reading.

Very pleased with it and the service from Infiniti - the only exception being the auto 'box, as posted previously! I'd be glad to hear from any other owners / drivers of their thoughts and experiences on any of the Infiniti range.

What were you driving before and how does it compare?

Anyway, I've been looking at the aftermarket exhaust systems available for the G37 in the US because I like to be able to hear a nice exhaust note, but there doesn't seem to be much on offer over here. Anybody found anything suitable or other tuning products in the UK? A twin-turbo conversion would be nice if / when finances permit. Do any, many or all of the products for the 370Z work on the G37?

On my last car - E39 M5 - I tried a couple of different exhaust replacements to get the right sound. In the end, simply removed both back-boxes so straight-through from the middle ones, resulting in a mild noise increase at light throttle openings and a beautiful burble, roar when pressing on. Am considering trying this on the G37 as a result. Any thoughts?

OK then!

Looks like the answer is that there aren't many Infiniti owners in the house but this bump might help...?

Otherwise, might just have to sign up to the "rare cars" thread...

Thanks GTR and MartinMac for your suggestions - I'll have a look at Abbey's website.

I'm a bit surprised that no other owners have come forward yet but then again, I've only seen a couple of others on the road.

We have more Infiniti dealers signed up as traders on our forum than we have owners of the cars. They seem to be very rare.

I had a G35 when I was in the US. It uses the same engine as the 370z so engine wise, you could look in that area.

I had a good blat in one in the states. They'll surprise a fair few folks in the UK by my reckoning. Certainly has the rare factor.
