So i had my eyes tested about 2 months ago, got the prescription as i intended on getting some specs online (prevatoir) as they were some 200 cheaper than in the shop (£500). Get the specs, put them on and i cant see anything, left it a while as suggested by prev and thought that this is no way right.. So went to a diff opticians (specsavers) and they said my prescription was waaay out.. So sent teh glasses back to have the new prescription fitted. Got these back and have been wearing them for 2 days, theyre a fair bit better and can see things with more clarity, but... Theyre not perfect, and i know that you need to give the eyes and brain time to adjust to the new prescriptions, however, sitting here looking at this screen the top of the screen appears narrower than the bottom, and if i should get up to move around i feel taller and not really sure of my footing when walking about as eveyhting seems so surreally different.

have booked appt on sunday to get new lenses checked out, i only hope i dont need them changing again as its cost me £120 in lenses now !!

has anyone any tips or experiences of buying from online?

Don't do it

Get the empty frames online if you must, then get the high street Optician to supply the lenses so you are covered when as in your case the Astigmatism isn't corrected properly.
