Hi
Before I shell out for a KEF repair or brave the vagaries of fleabay...

My KEF sub amp module has gone DC and killed itself and the driver (I think). Does anyone have a KEF PSW2000 sub or similar hidden away in a cupboard after an upgrade they would be willing to swap for reasonable amounts of beer tokens?

Long shot I know but....idea

I bought my REL Storm at the beginning of 2002 (with a 3 year warranty), and in April 2008 it stopped working (no output).

I checked the driver was ok (4 ohm impedance), and upon removing the amplifier board saw several components were overheated.

I took the board to the supplying dealer, who duly sent it off to REL for a diagnosis.

After two weeks I got the board back good as new.

The cost?

Zero. Nada. Zilch.

yikes

All I had to pay was the postage fee to the dealer (£10).
Incredible service clapbowclap

I would urge you to try the same - you may be pleasantly surprised.
