Petty moan but hugely irritating

You know when you hover over "My Info" and then scroll down to "Contributions", right?
Im not sure if I am the only one who uses that but I use that all the time.
If you make a post something bad happens.
You get to that screen that says "Thank you for your contribution".
It has a big advert along the middle of it.
Here we are getting to the meat of my moan. At this point you hover over "My Info" and the options drop down. THis is where things go alarmingly wrong. Its like forum armageddon. If you then run your arrowey thing down the options- the "COntributions" lies directly over the advert banner. But then something extraordinary happens. As soon as your arrow hits the "Contributions" option, the options menu vanishes into thin air leaving your arrow hanging over hte advert thus instead of clicking on the "contributions" you click the advert.
Is this a deliberate ply to up the advert clicking-on numbers or a software flaw.
Have you any idea what I am talking about?
Will you make it stop please?

I also have this issue.
Only it is only with certain banners.
I can't remember who the advert was advertising but it had monster trucks or something similar on it.
You may also wish to let your advertiser know that the advert they are running doesn't work.
