Tell me this, what does one do for insurance when storing their car in a warehouse? At the mo, I'm insured for about 4k miles per year but Im thinking of storing the car long term. Would the storage company tend to insure the car as well?

Thanks,

Matthew

No, but you can get a reduced price policy that covers the car whilst its not being used, you'll also find that if your using a decent storage place, their security setup will help reduce the cost further

If it's garaged you can get "lay-away" or "restoration" insurance.

I've just insured the CSK for about 1500 miles limited policy but covering all my mods. (not garaged all the time so can't be insured as lay away)

Got that through Flux.

We provide cover for the cars we store, included in the storage costs
