Can anybody recommend a leather restorer / treatment?

My seats are starting to look a bit tired



I haven't treated them in 2 years apart from a bit of baby oil once (I think).

Can anybody recommend a product to get them back to looking like this?

I would just use a leather cleaner then conditioner, something like meguiars will do the job.

They just look kind of dry, I admit it is difficult to see in the pic.

Liquid leather is fantastic stuff.

I use a hell of a lot of it.

I agree with this. I used Gliptone on my Alfa seats and they look & smell great.

I'd probably just go with a cleaner and conditioner from Meguiars or Auto Glym for seats like yours which appear to be in a good knick, wear-wise.

The Liquid Leather stuff mentioned above is supposed to be the best stuff for totally ruined leather, but it looked like a bit of a pig to apply.

I used this cream/dye from Grison to great effect before. It won't restore knackered leather to the state that LL will, but it's only about £15 and it's easy peasy to apply. Worked a treat on my old 190E. http://www.theleathercare.co.uk/renovation.html

Not sure you really need it though, a good clean and condition should sort yours out.

Another vote for Liquid Leather (Gliptone) they produce a wide range of products to suit the various requirements of leather, from a twice yearly maintenance to a restoration kit. I've tried pretty much all of the other brands and I find Gliptone just about the best.

You need some Dr Leather wipes.

Rub quite hard to get rid of the dirt then a quick wipe with a fresh wipe and let dry.

Ends up nice and matt just like from the factory.

Gliptone GT12 cleaner mixed with water & stirred in with a detailing brush. Leave for a minute then wipe off with a warm damp microfibre (or similar). The GT11 conditioner is good stuff but most modern leathers are sealed so it'll just sit on the surface and feel sticky.
Scuffmaster kit if you have any scratches but it doesn't look like you need it from the pic.
I'm 'interior_enhancements' on Ebay if you need anything.
