I've just had the boot seal replaced on my car and now the boot doesn't seem to shut properly. If I press down I can get it onto the catch but by just lightly pulling the boot up it unlocks it again. Any ideas for an easy fix to save me taking it back?

I`m assuming the boot catch will be the same as a Griff. Just undo the two bolts that hold the lock on the boot lid and lower it a touch. The new seal will probably be just holding it off a little too much.

Yep, BTDT - my Chim's bootlid always needed a hefty slam to catch the erm, catch, adjusted as per the above and everything's fine.

DO however make sure not to overdo it - too high and it won't release which could really ruin your day given that you will have to refuel the car sooner or later... wink

I could e-mail you the contact details of the watch and the company that did it for me if you like.
