I know the banks have had a hit lately with people reclaiming money back off of them ,now is the turn of credit card companies.Anyway when i was younger and reckless i had a huge amount of money on various credit cards. Can anyone recommend any one particular company for me to recoup some of these charges back. They all claim to do the same for you ie no win no fee and i don't mind them taking some off the final amount as it's money i never had.Any help greatly appreciated.

You borrowed money, you paid interest, as per the contract you signed up to.

What are you expecting to be able to claim back?

Put it this way many people have had personal loans in the past and have signed contracts too knowing fair well payment protection was in place and explained to them at the time and yet have managed to claim it all back regardless,a couple of friends of mine included. So i saw an advert for a company claiming to be able to do the same with credit card companies, morily right or wrong is this possible.Hope this explains my hyperthetical question.

AFAIK there was a compromise whereby £12 charges were deemed reasonable.
If you really want to try and reclaim, why pay someone else a percentage?

I was thinking about claiming PPI and late payment fees.At the time i had my cards the late payment fees were about 25-30 pounds which were subsiquently deemed unfair.Do i stand a better chance getting this money back with the help of one of these financial companies or could i just do it myself. If so how? Oh and no moral warriors please...
