Where is the Muslim group in the article? I admit I skimmed it but didn't see that.

What a ridiculous story (the actions of this Abdo character, not the reporting). He joins up with the army then is allegedly surprised when that brings him into conflict with other Muslims. Who would have thought? But instead of refusing to fight and taking the consequences he plans to blow up some Westerners. Of course, why not?

Daft indeed. It does beg the question "at what point does loyalty to your religious brothers become a danger to your national brothers?" I presume he would have no issue going to kill Christians, Hindu's, Jews, and so on? Entering the armed forces when tour loyalties lie elsewhere seems incredibly stupid.
