Just when I was enjoying a lovely week of driving around Devon and back to Bedfordshire in the comfort and luxury of my 2000 RR, I stopped to top up the Autogas about 40 miles from home and the EAS warning light came on. I stopped at the next chance, got out the manual to make sure it was nothing to stop the journey, re-entered the motorway, and the light was gone. Then back. Then gone. Then back.

When I got home, I booked it into the mechanic, woke up the next morning and dead battery. I was starting to feel the dread. AA came out and restarted it, found nothing wrong with the alternator, etc., so . . .

The trip to the mechanic initially prescribed a new rear height sensor, but when they went to put it in, they discovered that the electrical lead to that corner was loose. Replug the lead, no more problems. And no charge! When I got it home, I installed the latest model RF receiver in the back (10 minute job, thank you forum!), and once again all is well in RR land.

If things come in threes, I am going to count the slow-filling of the LPG system as number three, have her booked in next week for a filter and valve checkup.

When you say "slow filling of LPG" how slow is slow?
I've had 2 different LPG kits on my P38 (both installed new) and they've always been "slow filling".
I guess it must take 5-6mins to put in 75-80 litres - how does this compare with yours?
Everyone I speak to at the LPG pump (lots of time for conversations) always complain about slow filling, so I assumed it was just normal behaviour.
