Everyman Racing were talking about getting one to put around Mallory on driving experiences, but a Vmax thing is much better. The whole point of this and most driving experience events, before anyone says about the car being a bit dull, is being able to say 'I've driven xx very expensive and fast car'.. So giving a printout of highest speed reached in a Veyron is gonna sell rather well, I think!

<clicks Like>Sounds good but too rich for me, even though they are doing it at Dunsfold which is just around the corner.
From previous experiences with driving a car accompanied type deals I assume this deal is to drive a Veyron
down a straight to 186mph and then to a stop, followed by realising you just spent £800 on it.
If you have the money then hell yeah.

From this thread, I get the impression it's a different VMAX to the guys whose events are posted on here.
The price, I struggle to comprehend. There are far cheaper ways to get the same sensations and it's crazy that anyone would be prepared to pay it but it seems 12 people did.
The bit I find even more odd is what the owner of the Veyron gets out of it.
After commission they're going to get about £5k from those 12 sales, a bit more if they self drive. Then they have to pay for staff on the day (including a professional racing driver), getting the car to the venue (I suspect it'd be cheaper to trailer it), rental of the strip, insurance (amazed they could get it), petrol, tyres and general wear on the car. It's a lot of hassle and risk. You'd think if you owned a Veyron then a couple of grand is loose change.
The idea that they would then consider giving the keys over to any Tom, Dick or Harry to go straight out and do a high speed run. I just don't see the logic.
