we compared the tailpipes on my 450 with my mates griff 500 (okay its not that his willy is bigger than mine) and the 500 definately has slight larger tailpipes.

just as a convo topic really as i though the exhausts were all the same? does the chim 500 have bigger tail pipes? would there be any merit in fitting the 500 exhaust to the 450 ro indeed other variants.. apart from the obvious cosmetic benefits lol

Why are there two different sizes of exhaust manifold clamps then?

Drum4it2 got sent "5.0L" ones from Castle by mistake which were too big.

Where the "Y" section meets the exhaust system on the ppre-cat the exhaust sleeves inside 3" pipe on the 500 it sleeves over so 1/8th " bigger otherwise same pipes.
