I have booked my Chimeara into LEDA suspension in Brainree to have the geometry checked etc after some component changes... They have quoted me £100 for the work. This does seem quite expensive to me so I was just checking what other people had paid for the same thing.

A full suspension setup would normally cost a lot more than that, I assume this is just a quick alignment check?

Dunno, they are having it for the morning and they said that they would go right through the suspension and check everything is ok. Then bung it on there laser alignment machine and set up everything correctly.. Don't see what more they could do with the standard chim setup....

If they're doing the full geometry check then that's very reasonable.

I've had my chim done a few times 100 quid seems ok for checkover and alignment, when i get mine done and corner weighted its about 250.

you want to make sure they road test it afterwards and also give you the settings they have used.

Also there is a big difference between correcting the setup to what it should be as standard and tweeking it to make the car better than standard, allthough there are always trade offs betewnn the two.

post back how you get on

Racing Green do a full geometry check for the Chimaera for £100 + VAT, I believe, which includes the labour cost of adjusting it to spec, etc.

Seems very reasonable.
