Police checking speeds in Greenwich Park
Discussion
Yesterday morning and today I've seen police (Royal Parks Constabulary, I think) at the Cutty Sark exit to Greenwich Park, pointing some kind of handheld (radar/laser?) gun at cars as they drive past.
I reckon this is to be applauded, it is, after all, a park and IMO a much more appropriate place to be enforcing a 30mph speed limit than at the sites of a lot of speed cameras.
Thought you might be interested.
