Odd one this or maybe not. Had the Tuscan 18 months and have always refitted the targa section with the doors slightly open allowing the windows to drop and therefore easier to slot into place. Car has always had a bit of wind noise and very occasionaly has dribbled a bit of water in the wet- assumed was normal. Refitted it last weekend but with the doors shut, parked up in the garage and forgot about it. Got in today and the seal at the top of the doors was much better with no wind noise. Have I been getting it wrong all this time? Cheers and prepares for numpty accusations.

I've never noticed a difference to be honest. You do have a little room either side in terms of fit even though the locking pins 'centre' the panel. Maybe it's this?

Anyway, you've inspired me. The sun's out so I'm taking the roof off and going for a spin.

Dont forget when you open the door window drops each time, so re seats on seals each time. Maybe drove a bit slower, short skirt weather
