Once a year I get treated to having the house to myself for a week. So I placed an order at well known delivery store ending in o. Due delivery was 7.30-8.00. It arrived 3 hours late. I ran out of fags and booze at 8.00 so not happy also no dinner. Food is now in the kitchen covered in the cream which has been leaking into it for I presume the three hours extra it took them to deliver. Also my new cream carpet (pardon the pun) and my kitchen floor and surfaces are covered in the greasy st. Rang them and the best they can do is a £25 voucher with a ring back if you cant get the stains out comment. Too right i'll get the fking stains out that of carpet which cost me 2 grand 6 months ago. fk fk fkety fk. I am now too knackered to enjoy my once a year night in front of the tv eating and drinking st. actually not drinking st.

The wrong O
I eat what i want most of the time but it's good to get the house to yourself once in a while.

I also had a three hour delay with them yesterday (I'm South Cheshire/Staffs border). Fortunately all I was doing was drinking in the garden so didn't really bother me.

So should we take up the offer currently on Groupon? Is this 'late delivery experience' confined to recent deliveries in the north west or is it more widespread?

That's the point i could't drink in the garden because I ran out at 7.30 but couldn't drive out to top up supplies

Couldn't you have put a note on your door that read, "you're fking late so wait here for 5 mins as I've nipped to the offy."

My deliveries from O***o are always on time. In fact sometimes they are a few minutes early! Plus, they offer 30 minute or 1 hour delivery slots, and T***o only do two hour slots.

Never had a problem with them before usually brilliant. When i complained they tried to tell me the slot was an hour so was not entitled to a discount!
