Just arrived home after another epic 3 days at The Growl. Great to see some old friends and meet some new 
Most of all though I'd just like to say a huge thankyou to the Flip Flops and the rest of the organisation team for arranging what is certainly the best event of the year
Now it's time for a sleep !!

It was a lovely weekend and its always good to see so many great cars in one place,surrounded by such a nice bunch of enthusiastic folk.I would also like to pass on our sincere thanks to Paul and Andrea and the team that work so hard to make it happen for us all

and the newbies too, can't wait for next year and the biggy, can't actually believe that it will be the growls 10th anniversary next year, got to make it a good one, just like to say a massive thank you to Andrea and Paul for the fantastic job they do every year to make the growl possible.
I will post some pics later when i can remember how to do it

So pleased to hear you had good weather this year.
I've been to the Growl a couple of times in the past and, despite being a Chimaera owner, always had a great time and been made to feel very welcome by all.
I wanted to come this year, but I am stuck out in the US working on a project.

what a difference a decent bit of weather makes, good to meet up with old mates again, some people I didn`t get time to chat to, in particular Lord Grover....sorry mate
as for Tez, well I hope you get your little wind problem sorted out, you certainly let rip going back to the hotel saturday night
and if it was one of our lot in the room above 212 .....did you have to keep jumping off of the wardrobe all night???
just to add the noises from the room next door were a little disturbing as well, room 210, and who appeared this morning from said room......Pasco!!!

yep well done to mr and mrs FFG lots of friendly faces there too weather top draw always a pleasure to attend these events i spent £114 with Leven and got myself a new front splitter from Tim ACT £20 as last one came off (no damage)at 100leptons

Clive if it had been me who had let that one go i would have been proud to admit it, the worst thing was that you had to do it when i was right behind you, god know what you had eaten

I always love the Growl, best TVR event of the year which I look foward to.

Top event on my calendar and looking forward to the Great Griff Growl next year!!
Let’s hope we can get the biggest attendance ever from all over the country and overseas!!

Probably the best Growl for me, despite not having the Griff anymore.
So many friends, old and new, it's a shame I didn't get to talk to half of you properly. You're a great bunch and should be proud of the camaraderie.
Apologies to Simon, Rob and Becky in particular - I monopolised you for too long.
Really nice to see the old guard, including the three musketeers - Cliff, Pasco & Mongoose, not forgetting Bruce of course. A shame Seasider couldn't be there but I'll see him at BTaP no doubt.

As an invited guest by the organisers, Mr & Mrs FFG, I would like to say what a great time I had at the Growl. I was unsure what the reception would be to bringing a non TVR car and was very reticent before arriving. This was dispelled by the welcome I received and the friendly nature of all the many people I spoke with. There was a lot of genuine petrolheadism evident at the Growl. The atmosphere reminded me of the TR events that I attended with the first Mrs motronic 25+ years ago. I say that as a compliment.
Respect to the Flip Flops for all the hard work and dedication put in to organising this event and thank you for being given the opportunity to attend.
