Just wanting to check that standard camping things such as fresh water will be available (hadn't occured to me before now).

When you say cars can come and go, is this at any time and no restrictions on where the car is?

Cheers

Facilities ?!?... from memory, last year there was a field and a (i.e. singular) portaloo.... but what more do you want as long as the beer tent is open!

Two toilet blocks will be available this year, complete with Janice the cleaner. Please keep 'em tidy!

Running water and shower facilities are available on the other side of the paddock (few hundred yards away).

What do you need water for? I've already installed two high G "Slab 'o' Stella" holders in the T16

You could always go down to your local caravan dealer and buy a Thetford porta-potti.

Nothing quiet like your own toilet seat eh?

so have the facilities improved since last year or are the shower / toilet areas still poor ?

Still debating whether or not to camp as although last year was great fun the facilities were not. Disgusting springs to mind.

There was a massive toilet block with hot showers about 100m away, next to where the Dragster people had the chinese takeaway van. Since it was brick built, I'm assuming it will still be there this year

Half the problem with our portaloo was that dirty sods had pi$$ed all over the seat and floor, and draped bogroll all over like christmas decorations. I don't remember the queues being more than about 5 mins - this year's arrangements should make a massive difference .

Yep, the brick built toilets & shower blocks are still there, and in the same place.

As above, we have an additional 2 seperate toilet blocks behind the marquee this year, one for the ladies, one for the gents......that's half way distance between the campsite & the shower/ toilet block, deliberately kept away from the traders area, but close enough to the marquee so we don't have to stagger miles.....

IIRC, there are 4 cubicles to each block.

In between the toilet blocks is the cold water standpipe feed, which will have the extension hose fitted to it & jet wash (at a distance) so people can wash their cars if desired, kindly provided by dontlift........

I know I shouldn't have to ask this but please make an effort to keep the toilet blocks clean and tidy. We have got a cleaner to look after them but it reflects badly on PH if people can't manage to stick paper towels in a bin etc!

Or, indeed, hose down the interiors of the toilet blocks should things get too bad.
