Aldon Electronic Ignition wiring
Discussion
Despite my best efforts the writing has rubbed of some of the labels I put on the wiring !
Think I've got it sorted but could anyone just confirm where the two wires from the distributor go?
Think its black to coil -ve and the red to an ignition switched live, eg the 12v side of the ballast resistor ?
One more question, the two threaded terminals on the bulkhead, are there any wires going to the back of them, behind the dash ?
wonder how much they saved buying one big roll of black wire instead of all the proper colours

Yes, (the 12v igniton switched should be the single wire as the double end is the 12v cold start supply from the starter and jump link to 12v+ coil).
The threaded + and - terminals take the power through the bulkhead (this is a pair of 2BA bolts that each have 2 twin Lucar connectors under the bolt head , a piece of waxed card , as a separator between the 2 posts, then this goes through the shell and is locked on with a lock nut, THEN, external connections added AND a second nut to hold the connections on. Internal connections are female Lucar)
It is likely that I have soldered the Lucar connections to the head of the bolts (as it is a common hot spot of power failing and resistance) and as you know I have done work on this cars dash.
