Oil Pressure

I know this has been aske before so please forgive me!

Can you have to higher Oil Pressure? The cerb sits at cold with 75PSI of pressure and only drops to 45PSI hot at idle!

M'way crusing I get 60-70PSI hot.

Is this ok? Am i looking for something to worry about, as the car is running so perfectly!

Sounds OK to me. Mine tends to sit at 60psi on steady motorway driving, dropping to 35-40psi when driven hard.

I think, in true TVR style, all oil gauges are slightly different and say different things.

Mine registers 100 at cold idle, 60 at motorway speeds dropping to 50 driven hard, but drops to 20 on hot idle or even a bit lower if it's really pushed.

However the water temperature part doesn't work at all so I don't trust it in the slightest

I've just had a full factory rebuild (V8) & those are almost exactly the pressures i have. Nothing at all to worry about.
