There is one of the Mark Woodward events running near me at the weekend - 28th Yorkshire Classic Car Show at Ripley Castle.

Has anyone been to one of these Woodward events and are they any good?

Cheers,

Ben

The events I have attended are well run events . Mark dons his hi viz at the majority of his events and is a very approachable chap.
Most of his events are on an all vehicle events website

They're quite "relaxed" events - no formality and no real "show and shine" culture.

Mark encourages owners to actually take their cars into the ring for judging and the compere (often Mark himself) spends some time talking to those in the ring about their cars (and occasionally talking to the spectators too). The winner of each class is the one that the judge likes best on the day.

Everyone who shows a car gets a little commemorative plaque.

Terriric, thanks chaps.

Mark has kindly let me get the Citroen in as a late entry, looking forward to it.

Cheers,

Ben

When the weather's nice it's a thoroughly enjoyable event with some great cars, in a relaxed atmosphere and with tons of space.
