Is it okay for tracking alignment to be carried out on a car with worn tyres before new ones are fitted or should you wait until the new ones are on before doing it? I know this should be in the technical section, but looking for an answer ASAP! Thanks.
Well a tyre fitter will allways say get it redone but the alignment tool is on the wheel not the tyre so it's perfectly OK IMHO, the steering "may" feel funny on the old tyres as they will have worn to the old tracking IE unevenly.
