Short term European insurance and breakdown cover

We're taking a car to Bulgaria later this month. It's currently SORNed and will be being permanently exported as soon as it reaches there, so I need about a month's European insurance and breakdown cover. I've done the usual hunting around on Google, but I wondered if anyone had any specific recommendations?

Ah thanks, I hadn't realised that they all had to give full TP EU cover.

That still leaves the question of who does the cheapest month long insurance and breakdown cover though.

ECarInsurance have been the cheapest quote so far, yes (at about 90 quid). It's only a 1.4 Astra, so hardly high risk.

For my recent Euro drive adventure I found a company called First Call via MoneySuperMarket.

They did a whole year for £77. You do need to inform them 48 hours in advance that you are going before the cover starts however.

It was a ballache trying to get Euro cover for a 26 year old car. Many don't cover cars >15 years old.

BTW, I didn't need it. The E30 was solid!
