Hey folks, had a couple of cars stolen off my drive this morning on Brownlee Rd, Law. Some gypo s in a hi-ab Lifted the 2 Mr2's i had been working on.

Both Mk2's 1 Grey tintop with no wheels and a Red sunroof model with white standard alloys R815 DJC.

Plonked the grey one on 1st then the red one straight on top, tried to steal a 3rd car too but couldn't get at it, according to neighbours who watched it but didn't think anything of it banghead Didn't get a reg or company name off the lorry either, only it was white.

If anybody gets offered a Mk2 turbo engine and box or the cars themselves, please let me know.

PM if you like.

Cheers,
Olie

I've edited your post and reposted on the following forums:
SIDC
scoobynet
Seatcupra.net
uk-mkivs.net
detailing world

However I'd suggest calling local breakers / scrap metal merchants as they prob won't realise (or be interested in) the mods to the cars as they'd prob try and punt it on as quickly as possible.

Not my cars mate. Was putting the engine from one into the other, belong to my mate.

The 2.0T engine was rather special and i'll be gutted if that ends up cubed.

cars on bricks, etc might not be everyones cup of tea in your street, also if someone was going to steel a car with a hiab, they might take the risk on something a little more high value, who knows

good luck finding something out

Ah, no the cars were on my drive by the side of the house, simply look parked to any neighbours and u could only see the car from the front.

Wouldn't have been able to tell the front one was on bricks.

Still, wouldn't expect them to resort to calling someone in to steal things!
