[uglymug]

seen a complete 400se power steering rack assy from bell hill on fleabay and was wondering if it would fit my 1983 350i .

The chassis mounting points are almost certainly different

Having just gone through changing racks on my 450se, you may find that it is the mounting points that dictate which rack you should have, or you change the mounting points.
