so it's half 12 in Liverpool street and the group of 15 Asian promising footballers who live opposite me are doing their usual stupidly loud conversations, I'm getting pissed off as with this heat and the windows open it sounds like they are inside my flat.

then they move over and group around my z4 and a 325 and decide they make good benches, this makes my blood boil, I took a picture or two. (just incase) then marched out with a fk off maglight to tell them to get off the car and shut up.

they said sorry bruv init, and have gone inside but are there any official means to get them to shut the fk up on a nightly basis?? can the police have a word? how/who do I ask?

note: im 24, 5,11, have no tattoos and am not well built, was bricking myself.

Call the new non emergency number 101 and mention there's a group of dodgy looking fellas in the street sitting on people's cars......A gentle chat with them from an officer will hopefully have the desired effect.

To throw a positive spin on this, you approached a big group of them, they apologised and went inside.

That sounds like a much better result than some of the other possible outcomes... smile

One from left field, that I wasn't even sure about posting in case it sounds like I'm taking the piss... but here goes... while you're arranging your house move, park your car under a tree, and let birds st on it, until it's too unhygienic to sit on. You also get a wide berth in car parks. Cats will avoid it, too.

I'm not taking the piss. It does work. London roadside hawkers won't dare come near you either. Nobody wants to risk touching what's basically a big pile of st. (Nobody wants to drive a big pile of st, it's true, but once you're inside, you're inside. If you've got air con, you don't ever need to open the windows.)

(I hesitate to add, even though I'm not a big one for keeping my car particularly clean, I "discovered" this by accident.)

EDIT: I posted this, and I read it in situ, and I'm still worried that it looks like I'm taking the piss. Goddamnnit. Think of this as some out-of-the box brainstorming type thinking. Maybe it will give you an idea. Maybe it will make you think I'm a filthy bd.

It depends on how busy the police are....Anti Social Behaviour is now being taken more and more seriously by most forces.....but straight forward serious loud noise after 2100Hrs then you need to speak to your local authority environmental health.

Are you joking? I wake up to find fresh amounts of birdst in vast quantities on my car every day from being parked under a tree. And they are sat up there, like the smug feathery bds that they are. We'll see who's smug when I greet them with an air rifle.

Sorry, went off on one there..

can you set off the alarm on your car remotely?

on by bimmer when you hold down the lock button on the fob it makes the hazards come on.
next time you see then touch it, put this on, then as they leave it switch it off.
(practice first though so you don't end up just opening the car for them!)

also much more importantly, have a word with the guy that lives there, on his own, in daylight. talki to him about his football or whatever, just become friends, this way they are less likely to knife you(or insert that maglite)
