Anyone with a car trailer in Edinburgh area willing to help?

A bit of a long shot but was wondering if anyone in and around the Edinburgh area is able to help me. I have an old track / project car that I need to move.
The garage the car is sat in has been broken into 3 / 4 times in the last 2 weeks and on at least two occasions they have tried to start the car, fortunately with no sucess as the keys aren't left with the car and the battery is flat, amoungst other things
The problem I have is that the car doesn't have and MOT, tax and isn't insured, I have considered insuring it for the day and driving it whilst having it booked into a local Garage to be MOT'd (stretching the rules) but the first Plod that see's the car will pull it and know instantly it ain't road legal and has no chance of passing an MOT.
What I'm after is some kind sole (who will be financially rewarded) to either let me borrow their trailer for a morning or to tow it for me. The car is going from near Edinburgh Airport to Dalgety Bay in Fife. I have access to a car with a Tow Bar, but because I don't own the vehicle and it's owned by my employer I cannot hire a trailer as the companies want to see V5, Insurance which we don't hold as the cars are registered to the holdings company.
My last resort will be towing it with a bar, but it's a bit of a distance to risk this.
Anyone up for helping me or even suggesting an alternative, before the barstewards come back and try again.
