Driving on the continent

I am driving to Germany next month and wondering what diesel prices are like on in France, Belgium and Germany. In the hope they are cheaper once I get into France, the idea would be to fill up there in order to save money. My local petrol station is charging £1.38.9 for diesel.

France is about 15% cheaper than the UK for diesel.

Should be significantly cheaper in France as I believe they only use one decimal point.

if your using the tunnel, theres a garage called Bonjour as you come of the train, they usually have very good prices, and if your on the ferry, theres usually a couple of good petrol stations around Calais. France usually do have cheaper fuel as we fill up there around once a month (parents love the bloody country).

I was in Germany a couple of months ago and diesel was around 1.40-1.48 euro per litre, like here it's more expensive on the autobahn services than in towns. If you're taking the ferry to Dunkerque, which is my usual route, there's there Auchan hypermarket about 10 mins from the port which has cheap fuel.

I was over mid june, petrol prices were quite a bit more, but we were in rural areas, near big towns it seemed the petrol was the same, or a little bit more.
