So It's Alright To Tell People To 'Laser' Aircraft?

A thread popped up in The Lounge in which the OP (member 'Oa') was asking, no doubt tongue in cheek, how to bring down a helicopter using household items. Humorous responses included catapults and spud cannon but inevitably one bright spark suggested a laser pen. Having been on the receiving end of two such attacks I pitched in and drew the thread to the moderators attention.

The thread was pulled and rightly so in my opinion. Spud guns and cannon, all very funny. Telling people to shine a laser "...into the pilot's eyes..." was a step too far. The 'Why was my thread pulled?' thread is now running in the feedback forum.
