Not sure how many have got these, but I have just found out that they are very easy to kerb...

This evening I clipped a kerb and now I have a nasty graunch in the rim. I kerbed my old TD6 with 19 inch wheels many times and the tyre always took the brunt.

When booking my new RR in to the local dealer for work they were very careful to check the wheels for damage. Now I know why....

No.

I left the car in park as opposed to using the handbrake (stupid little electric thing) and when you do that on a hill the car rolls forwards slightly. I didn't allow for this fact when I pulled away and crunch.

So.. user error then tongue out

Serious mode now, shame about it, is the mark large or is it small and not very noticeable?

3/4 of an inch bite out the rim. However a mobile repairer is coming tomorrow, reckons he can sort it for sixty quid.

Not too bad then, hopefully it gets fixed ok, you'll just need to use the elec handbrake

He's been and done the job. If you know the wheel's been repaired you can spot a slight kink, otherwise you'd never notice.

The electric handbrake will indeed be used in future.
