Replacement door - trimming frame to fit opening
Discussion
No problem at all Stevie, circular saw taking half an inch off each side or a plane if you prefer. Then frame fixers through frame into brick three each side two top and bottom then, squirt a line of silicon sealant on the frame first, then a line on the brick to frame join to finish off. A strip of masking tape on the frame keeps the silicon where you want it without spreading it all over the frame.

Thank you, the frame is reasonable size 3 inches between the door and wall so 1/2 inch should be an issue. Will probably use a router to take it down by 1/4 of an inch a time and then work down to 1/8ths to make it fit.
I dont know why uPVC doors are so expensive compared to a nice Oak door.
