There is still a surprising amount of stuff you cant get on iTunes.

Jason Aldean is pretty big in the US but I cant find his stuff anywhere for download.

Why do some big artists NOT have their stuff on iTunes?

And why is it no matter how much you search for some stuff, all you can find is Tribute band ste?

I just want some Bob Seger!

Not heard of Aldean before but looking at his wikipedia page I'd say;

1. Country big is not mainstream big, despite two platinum and one gold albums
2. Independent label
3. He may not like Itunes' terms.

Also, if you look on his website Wide Open is available on itunes via it. http://www.jasonaldean.com/music/all/wide-open

In fact, all 4 albums are.

Sometimes I think I'm the only person who knows how to use search engines.

Its kind of modern country/rock.

Im not sure who else is similar as Im only just getting in to that scene myself after a recent trip to the US. Its pretty accessible stuff I would say and I like the stuff he sings about. "My Kind of Party" is what lead me to him first and there are a couple of others I heard over there that I liked. So Im going to give it a listen some more and see if I like it. Quite like Dirt Road Anthem too.

Just listened to a few tunes...he's clearly talented but it's too commercial/mainstream country for me. Enjoy, though!

Yeah, mainstream for sure.

He's no Townes Van Zandt!
