Started a similar thread on my local scooby site but interested to see what the response is here. I am looking to buy a blobeye soon but really cannot make up my mind whether i prefer the WR Blue or Black, literally change my mind daily at the moment!

Black looks awesome when clean...

But then again blue looks equally great..

Blue is very common and there are loads about, hides dirt well. Bit old hat now IMHO.

Black scoob with black wheels looks superb, but it's a pain to keep clean.

Curve ball.....White, like Black also looks superb on any Impreza, equally as bad as Black to keep clean, and it's likely to be a JDM model. Equally it will come with DCCD.

Your other option is to buy which ever one you like, and when you get fed up with the colour you can get it wrapped. Costs about £1000 or so, and because it's not classed as a permanent colour change there is no need to make changes to the V5 (logbook).

A friend has just put his bobeye STi up for sale (after only a few months!!). I never thought I'd like black until I saw it... I think the huuuge Blitz exhaust helps too - I'm a bit of a Blitz fan!

I had a black car as my 1st car, you notice the swirls and scratches so easily along with every new mark you get. I said i'd never do it again as have several friends. It does look good though.

Personally i'd rather buy based on condition, spec and history in your case as they look good in both of those particular colours.

Black most definitley as there are to many blue ones, every scoob show or jap car show just looks boring with all the same blue cars lined up in a row, black looks mean and if you detail your car correctly its as easy to keep clean as any other clour

White uk cars are out there just extremely rare! I just recently bought an 05 blob in white with DCCD smile

DCCD didn't come into effect on UK cars till 05 model. Bloody rare to find a UK car in white.

Whoever originally specced it up from brand new in white must have had a preminition and good taste because white is in again whaever you drive!! biggrin

I am trying to get figures to see how many were actually ordered in White as I have only ever seen a couple on various websites.

I went blue, but black with the Prodrive headlights would look pretty good!

My next scoob will be black Or White if possible. But the White ones are so rare to find.

I've got a silver blob at the moment and you can see in my profile pic that it does a good job of hiding the winter crud!! hehe

What about the metallic red colour? That's nice. I had a bug eye in the red and it was lovely.
Don't think the metallic red is available on the blob eye - if it is it must be very rare. Have seen it on bugeye and hawkeey wrx though.
